When should I visit the dentist?

We recommend visiting our office at least twice a year for preventive dental checkups. This is the recommendation of the American Dental Association in order to ensure patients maintain the optimal level of oral health.

What if I have an emergency?

During dental emergencies, contact Dentistry by Design right away. We do our utmost to see patients on the same day they contact us, and offer first aid and pain management tips over the phone.

What is full-mouth reconstruction?

Full-mouth reconstruction is a treatment plan that assesses each tooth and repairs any damage, decay, or areas of weakness. This may include cosmetic and restorative services personalized to meet the individual’s needs and goals.

What is periodontal therapy?

Periodontal therapy is treatment to renew oral health for patients who suffer from periodontal, gum, disease. Gum disease effects more than 50% of adults in the US, and treatment ranges from more frequent cleanings to laser dentistry.

What is CEREC?

CEREC stands for chairside economical restoration of esthetic ceramics. The CEREC system allows our team to craft high quality, all-ceramic restorations in as little as one visit to our office, although additional visits may be necessary to make sure you have the smile you want!

How does a dentist treat sleep apnea?

Obstructive sleep apnea may be treated by dentists using a custom oral appliance that shifts the jaw forward stretching the throat muscles and holding the airway open and unobstructed during sleep.

Do you take my insurance?
